I am utterly delighted that CAPTURED has been awarded the holy an Gof Cornish book award in the category of children and young adult book of year. And, if that wasn’t enough, it was also awarded the Anne Trevennen Jenkin cup: a trophy awarded to the outstanding book of the year. I was flabbergasted. Such a brilliant evening! Congratulations to Mabecron Books (my brilliant publisher) and to my sidekick and illustrator – the brilliant Oliver Hurst.
